History

Founded in 2015, JOIN Capital has nurtured a talented and diverse team in the heart of Berlin and expanded outposts into London and Milan. The LPs have extensive experience in industrial ecosystems and the German Mittelstand, making them smart allies in the investment process and bringing top returns.

Recent Start-up Investments

Frenetic, a pioneer in custom magnetics technology, announced an €11.2 million Series A, led by Kibo Ventures. Existing investors 42Cap, JOIN Capital, Bankinter, Bonsai, and Big Sur participated in the round. The funding will enable the company to embark on an ambitious new manufacturing project and expand its presence in the US. To date, Frenetic has raised €17.7 million.

SEMRON is a Dresden-based company which develops revolutionary semiconductors that enable AI to run directly on your smartphone. JOIN Capital invested € 7.3m Seed round alongside SquareOne, OTB Ventures, and Hermann Hauser as well as Pre-Seed investors such as Hans Rohrer, former President at TSMC Europe, Dr. Wolfram Drescher (BlueWonder), and Andreas Werner and Sven Sieber (Gigahertz Ventures).

Generative Engineering, a London-based software company on a mission to vastly improve the overall efficiency of physical engineering, has successfully closed a €4 million pre-Seed round led by EQT Ventures with participation from JOIN Capital.
