About Nicolas Tommasini
Nicolas Tommasini holds a degree in Economics & Finance from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and an MSc in International Economics & Finance from Lancaster University.
Tommasini began his career at the transport & removal company AGS, where he launched subsidiaries in Africa and Eastern Europe, and managed and developed its Romanian subsidiary in Bucharest.
In 1997, Tommasini was hired at Prague-based Orco Property Group, where he was responsible for international development. The group was founded by Jean-Francois Ott, with whom Tommasini would later launch joint business ventures.
At Orco Property Group, Tommasini developed international projects for more than a decade. He spearheaded the founding of MaMaison Hotels & Residences, a hotel group across Central and Eastern Europe, notably in Warsaw, Bratislava, and Moscow. He also developed Orco in Germany, acquiring and managing over 20 income-producing assets in Berlin. This led to the privatization of GSG Berlin in 2006 and established the group’s firm presence in Germany.
In 2005, Nicolas Tommasini became a board member at Orco Property Group and in 2007, he was appointed Deputy CEO and Group CFO, overseeing all financial functions and the financial restructuring of the Group. As a result of this restructuring, Tommasini became the COO and MD of Orco Germany.
In 2014, Tommasini left Orco Property Group and founded O&T Partners with Jean-Francois Ott, founder of Orco and fellow real estate and VC investor. In 2018, Tommasini began purchasing real estate in Paris for event venues and realized that this particular industry in the particular location of the French countryside presented a unique business opportunity. He founded Domaines & événements, a collection of prestigious estates operated for private or professional event hosting.
