Brief History
Founded in January 2014 by Edward, Jonathan, and Graham Ng, Far East Ventures is the venture capital branch of the Far East Organisation, a giant in the private property sector in Singapore.

Based in the Asian Pacific, and headquartered in Singapore, Far East Ventures has access to the Asian investment market network. Far East Ventures mainly focuses on investing in the United States, South East Asia, and China. Their location allows them to be able to provide their client base with a large business network, from doing business in Southeast Asia for more than half a century.
Significant Investments
In December 2014, Far East Ventures invested in Just Inc., a San Francisco Bay-based food tech company aimed at making good food healthier and more accessible. The company aims to produce products at are sustainable and eco-friendly, while also being tasty and healthy. In August 2015 Far East Ventures invested in RedMart, a Singapore-based online grocery retail platform that allows users to interact with manufacturers directly, and have purchases delivered directly to their homes. The platform allows manufacturers to directly communicate with their desired target audience. This gives them unique insights into the market and allows them to keep a close eye on market trends. Far East Ventures invested a series C funding round into RedMart. This round raised a sum total of IS$26.7 million.
Flux Data Inc., a San Francisco-based information technology, software company, received backing and funding from Far East Ventures in December 2015. Flux Data Inc. is a major disruptor in the construction and information technology fields. The software produced by Flux Data Inc. makes it possible for users in all departments of construction to save time and effortlessly design better buildings. The software is cloud-based and has approximately 6,200 companies currently using it across 151 countries. Far East Ventures invested in the Series B round, during which Flux Data Inc., raised US$29 million.
In August of 2016, Far East Ventures invested in the seed round of investment in an Asian Pacific mobile device repair platform called Fynd. The platform is a disruptor in mobile phone repairs and services, bringing the repair shop to the phone that needs repairing. This allows lower overhead costs and a more cost-effective solution for potentially costly mobile phone repairs. The service allows people with repair skills to earn a living while offering a competitively priced service.
Far East Ventures in the News
Fynd, an information technology, and repairs platform announced that they have expanded their business operations across Asia. They now operate in Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. The company is still looking to expand even further. This expansion is made possible by Far East Ventures, who was the lead investor in the company during the seed investment round in August 2016.
