Brett Mason

According to Brett Mason, life is all about fun and work, while you are also busy accumulating and growing wealth. Mason is an Australian entrepreneur, investor an inventor who holds several directorships in a variety of industries including oil, property and building supplies. He is the director of two Australian companies: BPR Investments and Harcourts North Lakes-Mango Hill, and the co-founder of Bitcoin India. Mason is also a board member of Mantis Energy in the United States and has invested in over 23 startups around the world, with particular interest in Silicon Valley, New York, the United Kingdom and India. He invented a permeable retaining wall system called MassBloc. It is used for slip and coastal repairs. 

Early Life and Business Ventures

Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Brett Mason was schooled at James Cook High. In 1998 he joined MassTec Industries in Auckland, New Zealand as director. Through MassTec MassBloc was invented and licensed throughout New Zealand, Australia, Tasmania and South Africa. Mason was appointed as director of Harcourts North Lakes in Brisbane, Australia in 2005, a role he continues to hold. Known as the largest agency by far in the region, Harcourts North Lakes consists of a team of property managers, sales people and administration staff who work together well to run the business efficiently. 

Significant Investments

In June 2014 Brett Mason made a significant seed round investment in Tamatem Inc. a mobile game developer and publisher catering to the Arabic market. Tamatem Inc. was founded by Hussam Hammo, Eyad Al Basheer and Sohaib Thiab in 2013 and has since published 40 games and achieved over 50 million downloads. The company has 26 employees and is headquartered in Amman, Jordan. Mason’s seed investment amounted to US$40,000. 

Where is Brett Mason Today? 

Since 2015 Brett Mason has been the director of BPR Investments. BPR is a company that directly injects funds into a variety of Brett Mason’s significant investments and brokers the supply of bulk D2/Mias, Euro 2M, HSD, crude oil and more to clients across the globe. High-speed diesel (HSD) for ship fuelling is one of BPR’s major investments. Ships move from port to port through Asia, returning to a central port every month where BPR refuels them. Another major investment is in a secure project extracting thousands of tons of nickel slag offering investment opportunities to interested parties. Mason and BPR offer guaranteed investment returns. 

In 2014 Mason co-founded and became a board member of Bitcoin India, a digital trading platform known for its speed. His partner is Sykam Sreemannarayana Reddy. In the same year, he was appointed as the executive VP of Mantis Industries LLC, a beverage startup that develops health-conscious products.
