Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Brett Mason was schooled at James Cook High. In 1998 he joined MassTec Industries in Auckland, New Zealand as director. Through MassTec MassBloc was invented and licensed throughout New Zealand, Australia, Tasmania and South Africa. Mason was appointed as director of Harcourts North Lakes in Brisbane, Australia in 2005, a role he continues to hold. Known as the largest agency by far in the region, Harcourts North Lakes consists of a team of property managers, sales people and administration staff who work together well to run the business efficiently.

In June 2014 Brett Mason made a significant seed round investment in Tamatem Inc. a mobile game developer and publisher catering to the Arabic market. Tamatem Inc. was founded by Hussam Hammo, Eyad Al Basheer and Sohaib Thiab in 2013 and has since published 40 games and achieved over 50 million downloads. The company has 26 employees and is headquartered in Amman, Jordan. Mason’s seed investment amounted to US$40,000.

Since 2015 Brett Mason has been the director of BPR Investments.
