Baldo has more than 20 years of experience in consulting and has completed international negotiations in English, Spanish, and Italian. His skills include business strategy, international negotiations, and consulting in the financial services sector.
Baldo is also Director of the Swiss China Corporation (SCC). The SCC is a private wealth management company headquartered in Hong Kong that provides family office and private banking services to clients in China. Most of Baldo’s investments are focused on the Asia-Pacific market.
Location
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Baldo Sanso was also educated there and obtained his law degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela. Subsequently, he moved to the United States to obtain a Masters degree (LLM) from Columbia University in New York. He worked for a few years with the Andean Corporation of Finance and obtained a Masters degree in Taxation in Venezuela from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. He then returned to the United States to study for an MPP, a Masters degree in Public Policy, from Michigan University.
Baldo worked for Bain Italy for almost ten years. His first assignments were in Italy, where he worked as a strategist on government projects. Later, Bain Italy sent him to work in Venezuela as an external consultant in the oil and gas sector on behalf of the company. After Bain, Baldo provided advice independently to multinational oil companies to negotiate complex structured-finance operations. Most recently, he has dedicated his time to negotiating and running acquisitions in Hong Kong, China and Europe.

Baldo is Director of the Swiss China Corporation (SCC), an asset management and family office based in Hong Kong, with operations across China in cities such as Beijing, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Chongqing.
